Black Rhino Game Lodge
Black Rhino Game Lodge, a 4 star accommodation venue with 10 suites, located adjacent to the malaria free Pilanesberg National Park, is based in the Black Rhino Private Game reserve, where exclusive game activities by the owners is enjoyed on their own property, whilst also having the privilege of being able to traverse the network of public roads of the 58,000ha greater Pilanesberg National Park.
Built on the edge of a Tamboti tree forest and overlooking a waterhole, the Black Rhino Lodge environs can be alive with animals and birds. The 10 luxury suites, all equipped with air-conditioning, television, tea station, mini bar & fridge have patios which open out into the bush, as does the bathroom to its own private outside shower.
The central main lodge facility has a dining and viewing deck which looks out into the bush. There is a plunge pool to cool off in. Evening meals can be in the boma – under the open skys seated around a crackling fire.
Guided game drives are conducted early mornings and afternoons into the evenings. These on the Black Rhino Reserve as well as in the Pilanesberg National Park.
Shepherd's Tree Lodge
Shepherd’s Tree Lodge is situated in an exclusive use zone within the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, a Malaria free Big Five Game Reserve in South Africa’s North West Province.
Shepherd’s Tree Lodge accommodation comprises 13 family and 4 executive suites. The family suites consist of 2 bedrooms with a shared lounge and patio. The executive suites have their own lounge with mini business centre – plasma screen, satellite TV and patio. The rooms have steam showers and double outdoor showers.
Gourmet food is offered with dinners in either the restaurant or outdoor boma. the comfortable lounge and bar area has expansive views over the bush. The deck has an outdoor bar which also serves the large rim-flow swimming pool.
Activities
Guided game drives in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve as well as in the Shepherd’s Tree private concession. Guided walks can be arranged in the Wilderness area adjacent to Shepherd’s Tree.
Indulge in the Lodge’s Spa facilities. There are conference facilities for up to 70 guests.
Tshkudu Bush Lodge
Tshukudu is the "Place of the Rhino". Built on a hilltop, the newly refurbished, luxurious Tshukudu Bush Lodge offers sweeping views of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. Offering only a few luxury cottages, attention to detail and personalised service is guaranteed at this exclusive lodge.
Each luxury chalet has been uniquely designed with its own private balcony offering potential sightings of over 80 species of wild animals, including the Big Five, as well as 360 bird species. Offering one double bed, two single beds, open plan lounge with fireplace, sunken bath overlooking the plains, shower over bath, fully stocked mini bar, bird books, magazines, plug points, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a safety deposit box are some of the features which one can find in the luxury chalets.
Ivory Tree Game Lodge
Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north Eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park, the closest point of entry is through Bakgatla Gate.
Nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre, divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails, lies the exclusive Ivory Tree Lodge. The central facility includes a stunning feature pool, bar, conference room, dinning room, boma, reception and curio shop.
Ivory Tree Game Lodge offers 56 Standard rooms which include twin beds, en-suite bathroom and outside shower & 4 executive suites which include in addition to the standard room features, a lounge which can accommodate 2 children, television, fireplace and a private plunge pool.
Ivory Tree has included a dedicated conference room among its facilities. This specific plan indicates a class room type layout and makes provision for 70 delegates.

Pilanesberg Private Lodge, situated in the Black Rhino Private Game reserve adjacent to the malaria free Pilanesberg National Park. The five luxury suites have extra length King-sized beds, are all equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a tea station and mini bar fridge and each have private patios. The bathrooms have ‘rock’ baths, dual ‘rock’ basins as well as own private outside shower.
The central main lodge facility has a dining and viewing pool deck with Jacuzzi which looks out into the bush. Comfortable lounge and library, fireplaces, bar and boma for dinners alfresco.
